This episode of the Value Investing Podcast contains some interesting examples about footnotes in general, and some specific examples of what companies can bury in them, and also what to look out for when reading through the footnotes in a company’s financial statements.
Michelle Leder is the author of Financial Fine Print: Uncovering a Company’s True Value. I have not read this book. So, if anyone has, feel free to share your thoughts about it in the comment section, and whether you would recommend it to someone else.
